Why practice managers choose us

One partner for a building the CQC will scrutinise.

01

CQC-ready compliance

Every statutory obligation scheduled, certified and mapped to the regulations you’re inspected against — the audit trail ready on demand.

02

Healthcare-grade cleaning

Cleaning to the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021 — risk-categorised, colour-coded and IPC-aligned.

03

Responsive maintenance

Planned and 24/7 reactive works that keep consulting and treatment rooms open, not closed waiting on a contractor.

Compliance, evidenced

The statutory picture — handled and documented.

Primary care premises carry the same statutory duties as any workplace, plus a layer of healthcare-specific ones. We own them all, keep them current, and hold the evidence in one place.

Statutory testing

The tests an inspector expects to see.

  • Fixed-wire testing (EICR) — at least every 5 years
  • Portable appliance testing (PAT)
  • Emergency lighting & fire alarm testing
  • LOLER exams — couches, hoists & lifts
  • Gas & heating safety
Water safety — HTM 04-01 / L8

Legionella controlled and logged.

  • Written legionella risk assessment
  • Temperature monitoring of sentinel outlets
  • Little-used outlet flushing regime
  • Tank, calorifier & TMV checks
  • Remedial works closed out
Clinical & hazardous waste — HTM 07-01

Segregated, stored and consigned correctly.

  • Correct colour-stream segregation
  • Sharps management
  • Registered carrier & consignment notes
  • Full duty-of-care documentation
  • Secure clinical waste storage
Fire safety — RRO 2005

A live assessment, not a dusty template.

  • Site-specific fire risk assessment
  • Fire doors & self-closers
  • Signed escape routes
  • Extinguisher servicing
  • Actions tracked to completion
Infection prevention & COSHH

Surfaces, substances and safe handling.

  • IPC-aligned cleanable, intact surfaces
  • Hand-hygiene facilities maintained
  • COSHH assessments at point of use
  • Safe storage of medical gases
  • Equipment servicing & calibration
CQC evidence

Mapped to the standards you’re judged against.

  • Regulation 15 — premises & equipment
  • Regulation 12 — safe care & IPC
  • “Safe” quality statements supported
  • Inspection-ready document home
  • One audit trail, produced on demand

All of this sits alongside our core compliance service and full facilities management — one team, one agreement, one dashboard.

Healthcare-grade cleaning

Cleaning judged the way an inspector judges it.

We deliver against the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021: functional risk categories, defined cleaning frequencies, and the national colour-coding scheme — with yellow equipment reserved for isolation and treatment/minor-operations rooms.

Every element is IPC-aligned and evidenced with responsibility charts and cleanliness audits, so the standard is provable — not just claimed. Clinical surfaces are kept intact and cleanable, and terminal cleans are handled to protocol.

  • Reception & waiting areas
  • Consulting rooms
  • Treatment & minor-ops rooms
  • Clinical sluice & dirty utility
  • Washrooms & baby-change
  • Touchpoint & terminal cleans
  • Clinical flooring care
  • Waste-hold areas
Maintenance that keeps clinics open

Planned where it prevents problems, reactive when it matters.

Planned (PPM)

Ahead of the failure.

  • M&E & HVAC servicing
  • Ventilation to clinical rooms
  • Water hygiene & plumbing
  • Clinical flooring & fabric
  • Decoration & compliance repairs
Reactive — 24/7

One number, any hour.

  • Heating, cooling & hot water
  • Leaks & drainage
  • Doors, access & security
  • Lighting & power faults
  • Make-safe & rapid repair

Contractor management is ours, not yours — one accountable point of contact per practice, with reactive works shown at real cost and approved before they proceed.

Inspection-ready

Walk into an inspection with the evidence already in hand.

Every certificate is green or flagged in real time, every service record dated, and every action tracked to completion. When the CQC asks, you produce it — not chase it — from one document home for the whole practice.

FAQ

GP surgery FM — your questions

Do you understand CQC requirements for GP premises?

Yes. Our compliance and cleaning are built around the standards a practice is judged against — Regulation 15 (premises and equipment) and Regulation 12 (safe care, including infection prevention and control) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, together with the CQC single assessment framework’s “Safe” quality statements. Every obligation is scheduled, evidenced and inspection-ready.

Do you clean to the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021?

We do. Cleaning is delivered against the functional risk categories, defined cleaning frequencies and the national colour-coding scheme set out in the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021 — including yellow equipment for isolation and treatment/minor-operations rooms — and evidenced with responsibility charts and cleanliness audits.

How do you manage clinical and sharps waste?

Clinical, hazardous and sharps waste is segregated, stored and consigned under HTM 07-01 “Safe management of healthcare waste”, collected by a registered carrier with consignment notes and full duty-of-care documentation retained in your document home.

Can you cover legionella and water safety?

Yes — a written legionella risk assessment, temperature monitoring of sentinel outlets, a flushing regime for little-used outlets, and TMV and calorifier checks in line with HTM 04-01 and ACOP L8, with any remedial works tracked to completion.

Do you offer cleaning and maintenance without full compliance, or vice versa?

Both. Compliance, healthcare-grade cleaning and reactive/planned maintenance are available individually or bundled under one open-book agreement with a single accountable contact and a single dashboard.
