identic. FM Book a compliance review

Last updated: 19 August 2026. This policy explains how Identic FM Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use identicfm.co.uk, and the cookies we set.

Who we are

Identic FM Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at:

What data we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us through our enquiry forms — typically your name, email address, phone number and details about your building. We use it only to respond to your enquiry and to arrange any compliance review or callback you request. Our forms are processed using Netlify Forms, and submissions are stored in our Netlify account.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from — so we can improve it. Analytics only runs once you accept via our cookie banner. Until you accept, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage disabled and no analytics cookies are set.

The cookies and storage we may use are:

  • Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_* cookies) — set only after you accept, to measure site usage. IP addresses are anonymised.
  • Consent preference — your accept/decline choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (identic-consent) so we don’t ask again.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Legal basis

We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Analytics and advertising cookies are used on the basis of your consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use trusted providers to run the site and our operations, including Netlify (hosting and form handling) and Google (analytics, and advertising measurement where you have consented). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for reasonable business and legal record-keeping, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or ask us to delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new “last updated” date.
